Pac-Tech Products was founded in 1974 by James M. Solomonson as a Manufacturer's Representative for products to serve Distribution for the Commercial, Industrial and Marine Insulation Contractors, Fabricators, and Industrial Markets.  Jim’s vision for his company rested on providing a key component that he found to be somewhat scarce at the time — excellent customer service, which carries on today as the back-bone of our business philosophy.

 

Our initial product offering included mechanical insulation hardware & fasteners, adhesives & coatings and spray foam systems. Over the years, our product offering has expanded, and other complementary products have been added in order to better serve the changing and growing needs of our customers and to respond to opportunities in new markets. 

 

Some of these products include textiles made from fiberglass and other special-duty fibers, pad fabrics, coated fabrics, insulation mats, knitted wire mesh, insulation saddles, inspection port seals, vapor barriers, PVC jacketing & fittings, gasketing and seals and a wide variety of tools & equipment specifically for use in the mechanical insulation field.

 

Pac-Tech has also expanded to include engineered, custom fabricated, thermal protective components e.g., gaskets & seals, tadpole tapes, bulb gasketing, thermal blankets, protective curtains and shields.  In addition, engineering and consulting services are also available for assisting our customers in finding unique solutions to specific application challenges.
